2007.- December 6-10
Analyst Nancy Sarquis made another visit to Bogota within the training program she holds with the Colombian Developing Group.
2007.- October 11-15
Analysts Nancy Sarquis and Trudy Bendayan came to Bogota as part of their work with Colombian Developing Group.
2007.- September 1
Jungian analyst Eduardo Carvallo lectured in Bogota on “Eros & Psyche: An introduction to psychic reality or the risk of basing life on fairy tales”. Dr. Carvallo applied Jungian theory to the well known myth as related by Apuleius in his work “The Golden Ass”.
2007.- August 25
A forum of Jungian analysis was organized in Medellín around the movie “The fanthom of the Opera”,
Analyst Nancy Sarquis stopped by in Medellín during a leisure trip. She took the opportunity to coordinate a work shop on “Analysis of Dreams”, which was highly successful among persons interested in applying Jungian theory to the interpretation of dreams. A large audience attended the work shop.
Nancy Sarquis on her regular visits to the Colombian Developing Group coordinated in Bogota a work- shop on “The shreds of the clothe we intend to knit”, based on the relationships among members of conjugal couples.
Jungian analyst Eduardo Carvallo delivers a lecture on “The bastard sons of Chaos”, where he reflects on the emergence of chaos in universal mythology, as well as on his positive and negative effect on individual and collective psyche. Dr. Eduardo Carvallo is Medical Psychiatrist member of the Venezuelan Society of Jungian Analysts (SVAJ), and of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
2007.- June 15
Adepac’s quarterly event in Bogota was a presentation and a forum on the movie “Chihiro’s journey” directed by Hayao Miyasaki from Japan. Jungian analysis was applied to the presentation and latter discussion by Maria Claudia Munevar, member of ADEPAC.
2007.- May 26
In Medellín, as part of the quarterly event organized by Adepac, a lecture was given by Eliana Fernández on "Archetypical Representations of the pleasure senses”. Ms. Eliana Fernández is a member of ADEPAC, artist and dancer. She teaches oriental dance and Yoga.
2007.- April 20-22
A gathering on Myths and Tales of Colombia took place in Medellín with the participation of members of Adepac from Bogota and from Medellín. María Claudia Munevar, Secretary of ADEPAC, lectured on “Transition to Patriarchy in Cosmogonics Myths of the Chibcha culture”. A group of psychologists from Medellín conformed by Angela Carmona, Ana María Sierra, Laury López, and Alejandro Agudelo, presented an interesting paper entitled “I don’t relieve in witches … but I have seen quite a few”.
2007.- March 31
During the visit of Venezuelan analyst Trudy de Bendayán, member of the Venezuelan Association for Analytical Psychology (AVPA), and of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP), she delivered a lecture on "Post-modern Symptoms: Titanium or Psychopathies ", where she argued how present day search for new gods is expressed in a wide variety of fundamentalisms. The audience was attended by a large group of persons interested in Jungian theory. Venezuelan analyst Nancy Sarquis was a part of the audience.

Also as part of the event, Maria Patricia Quijano, Colombian Psychologist, member of Adepac, and executive coordinator for Adepac in Medellin, gave a workshop on Sand-Play which offered participants a space to reflect on their own experiences with collective unconscious.

2007.- March 2 a 14
A work shop on “Jungian Interpretation of Dreams” was given by Psychologist Juan Carlos Alonso, President of ADEPAC. The workshop had both theoretical and practical contents where participants made an application of theory to their own dreams.
2007.- Marzo 2 a Junio 14
Based on the excellent demand of the First Diplomat on Analytical Psychology given during 2006, a Second Diplomat took place at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. The course had a total of 120 hours and was taught by José Ricardo Álvarez S.J., Juan Carlos Alonso, and Irene Ulloa.
Quarterly Lecture in Medellín was delivered by Ana María Vargas, member of ADEPAC on "Musical Works and Archetypical Representation: relations between music and collective unconscious”. Lecture was accompanied by music playing. .
2007.- February 10
Jungian analyst Nancy Sarquis, member of the Venezuelan Association for Analytical Psychology (AVPA), and of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) gives a conference on "The Arrow of Lead: Encounters and Disencounters in Couples” where she deals with the presence of Eros & Power in love relationships.

2006.- December 13 to 15
A workshop is given in Bogota on “Symbology and Intuition: a Jungian analysis of archetypical images” by Sociologist Ana Rico, member of the Executive Council of Adepac.

In Medellín, Lia Posada, Medical Psychiatrist delivers a lecture on "The important of dreams in psychic equilibrium and evolution ".
2006.- November 16 to 18
The First Symposium on the Work of Carl Gustav Jung takes place in the city of Popayán, sponsored by the University of Cauca, with the participation as lecturers of Juan Carlos Alonso, President of ADEPAC, and Maria Patricia Quijano, member of the Executive Council of ADEPAC.

2006.- September 2 – 7.
A group of members of ADEPAC attended the IV Latin American Congress on Jungian Psychology which took place in Punta del Este, Uruguay. In the Opening Session, Adepac´s President Juan Carlos Alonso had a presentation on current situation of analytical psychology in Colombia, and its future perspectives. A total of 16 persons from Colombia gathered at the congress where a web on Jungian Universities was founded. On their way to Uruguay some members of ADEPAC attended in Buenos Aires to work-shops given by IAAP Analysts Eva Pattis and Luigi Zoja.

Forum on “The presence of the Shadow in the movie The Fight Club” was coordinated in Bogota by Psychologist Ana María Salazar, member of the Executive Council of ADEPAC. In Medellin, the quarterly lecture was dedicated to the topic of “A Philosophical Robe hides Orpheus” by Luis Guillermo Quijano, M.A. in Greek Philosophy. .

Psychiatrist María Mercedes Trujillo is in charge of a workshop on “Creating and Interpreting Mandalas. She is a member of Adepac’s Executive Council.
2006.- June 30

2006.- June 2
Chilean Analyst Mariana Arancibia comes to Bogota and directs a workshop on "Sand Play Technique".In her 4 days visit she works closely with members of ADEPAC in different aspects of training, and supervision.
2006.- May 20
ADEPAC offers a workshop on "Discovering our Corporal Myth", directed by Psychologist Ilse Jordan, in Bogota. In Medellín, a lecture on the Archetypic of the western concept of "Development".
2006.- April 1º
Opening lecture at the Graduate Course on Analytical Psychology by Dr. Mariana Arancibia on "Personal Development in Junguian Psychology". The course was organized by ADEPAC and the Psychology Department of Universidad Javeriana. Dr. Arancibia is currently President of the Chilean CG Jung Study Group, and of the Chilean Foundation of Analytical Psychology, in Santiago de Chile.

2006.- March 28 to June 24
During this period the First Graduate Course on Analytical Psychology is given at the Psychology Department of Universidad Javeriana, Bogota. Professors José Ricardo Alvarez, S.J:, Juan Carlos Alonso and Irene Ulloa. The course is oriented towards giving the participants a basic knowldge on Carl Jung´s theory, to provide them with basic tools for the exploration of their own behaviors and reaction, and to open roads to personal development both internally and interpersonally.
2006.- February 25
A lecture dedicated to the memory and work of Junguian Analyst Marie-Louise von Franz (1915-1998) is delivered by Juan Carlos Alonso, President of ADEPAC. He presents a review of her life, of her major works published and translated into Spanish, as well as a video interfiew made to Dr. von Franz by Françoise Selhofer en Bollingen, September 1982.

In Medellín, Dr. Eduardo Carvallo from the Venezuelan Society of Junguian Analysts, SVAJ, lectures on "Psychic Body - Somatic Body: an approach to the psychosomatic phenomenon".
2005. - November 19
First visit of a jungian analyst under joint sponsor IAAP-ADEPAC, Dr. Axel Capriles, jungian analyst from Venezuela gave an interesting conference analyzing from an archetipal perspective the relations between symbolic images of classic mythology with other images found in Latin American folklore.

ADEPAC’s Second Quarterly Conferences in Bogota on “The Kogi Myth of Creation from an Analytical Psychology Perspective” by Juan Carlos Alonso, and “Psychological Types in members of Catholic Religious Communities” by Irene Ulloa".
IAAP named Dr. Luigi Zoja as Liason person for theColombian Group of Development.
2005.- July 20
Taking into consideration the achievements of the Association for the Development of Analytical Psychology in Colombia (ADEPAC), IAAP Subcommittee of Groups of Development decided in its July 2005 meeting in Texas, United States, to grant ADEPAC formal status as Developing Group. With this recognition the association will seek international support for achieving its purposes. Among the activities planned with this support are the invitation of recognized jungian analysts, who will contribute to of a systematic program of study, and training of candidates in Jungian therapy.
2005.- June 1 to July 15
Efforts were concentrated in the organization of study groups in the cities of Bogota, Medellín and Cali. By mid-july ADEPAC had seven study groups with a total of 47 individual members. Dr. Juan Carlos Alonso travels to Cali to give orientations for the organization of a study group.
Study groups are striving to create a space of reading, reflection, exhibitions and discussion, that will enable participants to acquire an introductory knowledge of principles, concepts and basic applications of Analytical Psychology.
2005.- June 11
The first quarterly conferences were given in Medellín on June 11th by Liliana Osorio from Medellin who lectured on the topic "From Freud to Jung", and Juan Carlos Alonso from Bogota who presented his research on "the Kogi Myth of Creation from an Analytical Psychological Perspective".
2005.- May 14
Two simultaneous encounters were organized in Bogota and in Medellín to present ADEPAC to a wide audience interested in Jung and Analytical Psychology. The agenda included a Review on the life and work of Carl Gustav Jung, and further developments as well as information concerning IAAP and ADEPAC. Speakers were Juan Carlos Alonso, Javier Sáenz and Marcela Henao in Bogota; Lisímaco Henao, Liliana Osorio and Maria Patricia Quijano in Medellín .
Bogota’s Chamber of Commerce issued the certificate of existence and legal representation of the Association for the Development of Analytical Psychology in Colombia, ADEPAC, register N.I.T. 900011038-1, as a non/profit organization with seat in the city of Bogota, Colombia.
In Medellín a group of supporters of Analytical Psychology gathered to discuss and to approve the statutes of an association oriented to the development of this approach in Colombia and to elect its legal representatives. The directive council was conformed by the following people:

2004.- October 19 to 21
Dr Luigi Zoja, former president of IAAP traveled to Bogota to meet with professionals interested in the spreading and formation of therapists in Analytical Psychology. The meeting took place at the Psychology Department of Universidad Javeriana.

2004.- August 26 to September 3
The XVI Congress of International Association for Analytical Psychology took place in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Juan Carlos Alonso, Colombian psychologist attended in representation of Colombia under authorization from Dr. Murray Stein, president of IAAP. His presence at the Congress responded to his interest on exploring the possibility of creating a Developing Group in Colombia. Dr. Alonso is the author of the article "Jung’s Analytical Psychology and its Contributions to Psychotherapy".
