The International Association for Analytical Psychology IAAP was founded on 1955 and is the regulating organization of all the groups of professional analytical psychologists. The main objectives of the IAAP are to advance in the understanding and the utility of Analytical Psychology all over the world, and to guarantee highest professional, scientific and ethical standards in the training and practice of analytical psychologists, through their Groups Members.

IAAP keeps up these objectives, partly, by organizing a regular international congress, every three years, and offering support to the several regional and professional meetings. Besides to supervise and to finance the publication of Procedures of the Congresses, the IAAP supports projects of investigation, and promotes the translation and the diffusion of important contributions to jungian Literature. As part of its mission to promote Analytical Psychology everywhere, IAAP animates the formation of Developing Groups in countries and regions where there are not IAAP existing groups and actively furthers their progress thru the organization of local courses and conferences, supporting the growth of their libraries, and giving support in different ways to foster their integration in the larger community of IAAP (www.iaap.org).
